Never Miss
A Beat
Beatbox Montreal began as a Facebook group in 2012, created to bring together beatbox enthusiasts from all corners of the city.
What started as a simple online community quickly transformed into something much bigger.
Driven by our passion for beatboxing, we hosted our first showcase event in 2014, the energy and excitement at our events were undeniable, and we knew we had to keep the momentum going.
This led us to organize battles, where beatboxers could compete, learn, and grow.
To date, we've proudly hosted eight intense battles each one bigger and better than the last.
In recent years, our focus has expanded beyond events. We have dedicated ourselves to beatbox coaching, providing personalized one-on-one sessions both in person and online. We've also been conducting workshops at schools and festivals, sharing the art of beatboxing with new audiences and inspiring the next generation of beatboxers.
Beatbox Montreal is more than just a community; it's a movement. From our humble beginnings as a Facebook group to becoming a cornerstone of the local beatbox scene, our journey has been driven by passion, creativity, and a deep love for the beatboxing art form. We invite you to join us, whether you're a seasoned beatboxer or just curious about the craft. Let's create, compete, and celebrate the power of the human voice together.
At Beatbox Montreal, we believe that everyone has the potential to beatbox

Malc
"Feelovenergy"
Humes Doucet
Malc's journey into the world of beatboxing began in 2008, but their fascination with sound started much earlier. As a child, Malc was captivated by the ability to mimic sounds and accents, often entertaining family and friends with their uncanny imitations. This early talent naturally evolved into a passion for beatboxing, where they found a perfect outlet for their auditory creativity.
In 2016, Malc began sharing their skills with others, becoming a beatbox coach. They have since been involved in various educational programs such as Dare-Arts, Oxy-Jeune, Bureau Consultation Jeunesse, Les Offices jeunesse Internationaux du Québec, and Gr4nite. Through these programs, Malc has inspired countless students, helping them discover their own vocal talents and the joy of beatboxing.
Olivier
"Spectrax"
Labelle-Mota
Olivier has been immersed in the world of beatboxing since 2004. From an early age, Olivier was shown the ropes by his father, who instilled in him a deep appreciation for the art form. This early mentorship set the foundation for Olivier's own beatboxing journey, which has been marked by continuous growth and exploration.
He has claimed the title of Vice-Champion in the national championships as well as Champion of Montreal two years in a row. Olivier's approach to teaching is deeply influenced by his own experience of learning from a parent, and he strives to create a supportive and engaging environment for his students. His goal is to pass on the love and skills of beatboxing to the next generation, just as his father did for him.
